I found something that's old-school South!
Cheerwine is a cherry-flavored soda that was created back in 1917 and which the west coast has yet to discover. I picked up a Diet Cheerwine today just to try it. It's pretty good! I still prefer the Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb, or even Cherry Coke tastes, but Cheerwine is definitely worth a try.

Hey! How about bringing some when you come? :) Love you, Mom
~~ uh...not in your carry-on...
Mom
sounds like a yummy place to be...:-)
Cheerwine has gotta be the funniest name I've ever heard for a soft drink, and no, I've never, ever heard of it.-- it's like an oxy-moron (how in the world do you spell that anyway?) I just think of Whine (instead of WINE) -- like kids who need a spanking... and Cheer (like yaahoo, happy) ... which are kids who don't need spankings... and like how can those two go together in one solid word???
okay, hello and goodbye from this very tired mama tonight! But I am glad you tried something new and found it wasn't so horrid or anything~
aaw
I've yet to see it in my part of the south. I'll definitely keep my eyes open. I love unique interesting new soft drinks.
